What this gives you
Run Pilots exposes its own MCP server. Connect it to an MCP client like opencode (running on opencode Go), and you can create flights, check runs and manage accounts directly from your agent conversation.
Install (opencode)
Add this to opencode.json and set RUNPILOTS_TOKEN to a scoped personal access token from Dashboard → Settings → API keys.
Remote with OAuth
Prefer no token management? Point your client at https://api.runpilots.com/mcp and let OAuth 2.1 dynamic client registration handle sign-in. Run “opencode mcp auth runpilots” to complete the flow.
Good first prompts
“List my connected accounts and their session health.” “Create a flight that posts the top item in my drafts folder to X each weekday at 9am, and require approval before posting.” “Show me yesterday’s failed runs and why.”
