Connecting accounts

How live login works, what gets stored, and how sessions stay healthy.

All guides

The live login flow

Connecting an account opens a one-time browser session streamed to your dashboard. The session token is single-use and expires after ten minutes; only you can view it.

Log in to the platform as you normally would — passwords, authenticator codes and SMS all happen inside that browser. Run Pilots never sees your password.

What is stored

When login succeeds, Run Pilots captures the browser storage state (cookies and local storage) and encrypts it with AES-256-GCM using a unique key per record. The encrypted blob is tied to that connected account only.

Session health

A keepalive check visits each account periodically and confirms it is still signed in. Accounts are marked healthy, expiring or expired, and you get a notification with a one-click re-login link.

Proxies

Business and Scale plans can attach a proxy URL per account for a consistent IP. Proxies are stored in the same encrypted vault.
