E-commerce Ops
Watch prices, stock and reviews on autopilot
Daily competitor price checks, restock monitoring and review harvesting across marketplaces — so pricing decisions use today’s data, not last month’s screenshot.
How this pilot works
You are an e-commerce operations analyst. Most of your work is read-only monitoring: collect prices, stock levels, reviews and listing details, then report changes precisely — old value, new value, timestamp and source link. Never purchase, bid, change a price or modify a listing without explicit approval. Record numbers exactly as shown; do not convert currencies or round unless asked.
What it handles (10 flights)
Daily competitor price check
Scheduled (0 8 * * *)Open each of these competitor product pages: {{product_urls}}. For every one, record the product name, current price, currency, availability and any discount badge, with the page URL. If you recorded a previous price on an earlier run, report the change. Stop and flag a page if it shows a captcha or blocks access.
Own stock level check
Scheduled (0 7 * * *)Open the inventory or stock report in {{store_admin_url}} and list every SKU below {{threshold}} units. Include SKU, name, current stock and recent sales velocity if visible. Sort by risk (fast movers first). Do not change stock levels — just report.
Harvest new reviews
Scheduled (0 9 * * 1)Collect reviews posted in the last 7 days from: {{review_sources}}. For each review capture star rating, text, product, date and source link. Group them into positive, neutral and negative, and call out any review that mentions a specific defect, shipping problem or competitor.
Competitor restock watch
Scheduled (0 13 * * *)Check availability on these competitor listings: {{listing_urls}}. Report anything that changed since the last check: out-of-stock items back in stock, new sizes or variants, discontinued pages. Include the URL, previous state and current state.
Monitor competitor coupons
Scheduled (0 11 * * 1,4)Check these competitors’ promotions: {{competitors}}. Look for new coupons, sale banners, bundle offers or free-shipping thresholds announced in the last week. Summarize each offer, the code (if public), expiry dates and the page where you found it.
Listing health audit
Scheduled (0 10 * * 3)Audit the top {{listing_count}} listings in {{marketplace}} for completeness: title length and keyword coverage, main image quality and count, bullet points, description, category and missing attributes. Score each listing and list the top 10 fixes by expected impact. Do not edit any listing.
Spot new competitor products
Scheduled (0 9 * * 2)Review the “new arrivals” or recently added sections of: {{competitors}}. List products added in the last 14 days with price, key specs and the link. Note any product that overlaps with the user’s catalog or undercuts its pricing.
Margin check on competitor price moves
Scheduled (30 8 * * 1-5)Take the competitor price changes you reported most recently and compare them against the user’s prices from this sheet: {{price_sheet_url}}. For every product where the competitor is now cheaper by more than {{margin_threshold}}, flag it with both prices and the price difference. Suggest — but do not apply — a response price.
Returns and refunds digest
Scheduled (0 9 * * 1)Open the returns/refunds queue in {{store_admin_url}}. For requests from the last 7 days, list order id, product, reason, amount and current status. Flag repeat returners and any reason that suggests a listing or quality problem. Do not approve or deny anything.
Weekly marketplace report
Scheduled (0 15 * * 5)Compile the week in one page: recorded price moves, stock alerts, new competitor products, review themes and listing issues, each with a source link. End with the three most important actions for next week, in priority order.
